BENEVOLENCE
We had not expected to ask for this,
but when it did become necessary,
your generous response was a real
blessing and will continue to be so.
A total of $1,224,000 in benevolent subsidies was awarded to 44 residents in 2024. These
subsidies pay for all care-based expenses to eligible contracted residents who, through no fault of
their own, have outlived their assets. Benevolence provides peace of mind and the opportunity to
remain in the homes they know and love. In addition to safe, secure housing, the Benevolence Fund
covers nutritious meals, prescription medications, physical and rehabilitation therapy and skilled
nursing care to keep older adults healthy and active.
