MEMBER
HIGHLIGHT:
Rita Morgan Stone
I like the word benevolence. One of its meanings is
kindness, which sometimes seems in short supply in our
world today. It is with gratitude that I may participate in the J.T.
Edwards Legacy Society and perhaps bring some cheer to a
fellow resident.
- Rita Morgan Stone
Rita Morgan Stone, a longtime resident at Lakewood, chose to
support the benevolent need at her community through a planned
gift. Rita’s involvement in the community has included service with the
Resident Council, Resident Advisory Committee, Food Committee and Heritage
Committee. Her most recent volunteer service includes teaching English as a
Second Language (ESL) to team members. Kindness is what drives Rita to give
of her time, talent and treasure to her friends, neighbors and employees.
